Pros

it is an OK job if you just want to have easy tasks and don't mind the minimum salary and the mind-numbing work.

Cons

* be prepared to be underpaid and frustrated: this is a fundamental part of this job that you need to accept; the company BASF Service Europa was supposed to be established in an Eastern European country to keep the wages expenses low, BASF only agreed to create the company in Berlin after it created a separate salary agreement for BASF Service Europa that allows the company to keep the salaries low. * digitalization and automation are two keywords that you will hear all the time in meetings and in always-recurring company initiatives, yet from what I have seen most of the company employees are stuck doing repetitive monotonic jobs and very few people have the competence and right mindset to help with digitalization since they are being picked mainly based on their willingness to accept low salaries. This leads to a company culture were on the surface everything is nice and friendly but most employees are doing the bare minimum with low efficiency and productivity.
