Solid company, you'll work hard

Pros

Large corporation, multiple opportunities for career changes or locations. Benefits are reasonable. They work very hard to remain competitive in the market and are a leader in most of their markets.

Cons

The need to remain competitive means they work with minimal staffing which means the hours can be long. It's a German company and Germany is #1 priority - multi-billion dollar job-saving programs are implemented at headquarters while other regions are downsizing - lowers morale.

Pros

Compensation and benefits second to none. Professional environment with strong cross section o industry experience and academic credentials. Exposure to the global automotive industry.

Cons

Currently undergoing workforce reduction. Many positions being eliminated or moving off shore. Market share not growing. Opportunities for professional growth are shrinking.

Pros

I enjoy working with the people in my department and the overall feel of the company. I would definitely recommend this internship to a friend.

Cons

I wish there were more organized, fun events for interns so that we could get to know one another better.
