Good combination of high-calibre people with challenging work, which gives great work satisfaction at the end of the day. Lot of learning opportunities. Excellent pay.

Cons

Bloomberg is a huge company and some teams are bad, so just be cautious about the team and work that they do before joining.

Pros

It's a very friendly work environment. If you are really good, they would provide fairly competitive compensation. People are are more fun to work with compared with other typical IT companies. My understanding is that to have a successful career here, you really need have a passion for finance.
