      Pros

      Top people, high-profile cases, international opportunities, great door opener in your CV. Working there lets you get to know a lot of industries inside-out and meet people that work on top-positions. Many consultants use this to switch from Management Consulting to working for one of their former clients.

      Cons

      Long hours, often repetitive and tedious work, stress, out-of-town cases demanding you spend 4 nights a week living in a hotel

      Pros

      - Huge variety of projects to work on, including social impact and pro bono work - Considerably better paid than direct competitors (at least at entry-level) - Fab people, they really get the hiring decisions right.

      Cons

      - The learning curve is steep (this is really a pro, but might not feel it to begin with) - If you are staffed on a case which keps you at the office, it can feel a bit lonely Mon-Thu!
