If one person belongs to some area we shouldn't show partiality particular place.If you are performing extraordinary if manager(higher) may not feel happy ,because you may not belongs to either his region or place.Sometimes onsite opportunities will creates for respective people(who likes manager or his region out of performance).My opinion if you are alone just knowledgeable just like to lead work balance like dummy ,if you are extraordinary you can hold opportunities but Politrics needs to learn to continue .
