Pros

To consider something, payment is always made on time.

Cons

- Contractual fine: If you are a foreigner, know that you will have a 2-year fine and, even if it involves the help that the company gives you in the transition between countries, it does not justify leaving you with a client who will exploit you as they want. I started working above the level I was hired for and even though I was dissatisfied, my only option is to pay a large fine, as neither the client nor the company cares. The way to get you to work above the level is: "We all have the same role in this company. There is no junior, senior, etc. Only the Developer role." Which gives them space to do whatever they want. And there's no point taking this even to HR, as it will be completely ignored. - Distance from work: You will work too far from the client (more than 3 hours in some cases), as the salary does not allow you to live close to the places where the clients are, such as Porto and Lisbon. - Immigration Support: The company does not give you any help in renting a place. Not that it's an obligation, but the immigrant doesn't have any documentation for a long time in the country (often more than a year depending on the conditions of the competent office) and you can't get anything more than a room without having all the appropriate documentation. * There are much smaller companies in the region that have teams that provide support for this, look for these if you intend to immigrate. - Meal allowance: Same problem as salary. There is no way to have a meal in the places where the customer is, normally Porto and Lisbon. You will always have to take it out of your pocket. - Career: It is completely tied to courses and the biggest weight is the opinion of the client who will give you the evaluation. In other words, you can still end up in debt if you behave in a way that questions something.
