Pros

- Good work life balance - good opportunities in both public and private sector clients (o get involved only, not to lead) - good office location.

Cons

- Average salary compared to Big consulting or boutique consulting - Limited opportunities to lead the work as senior leadership run a very tight ship and will always prefer that a very senior person leads the projects as oppose to someone who is of slightly junior grades - Very much who you know kind of culture as oppose to rewarding hard work. - Absolutely no social interaction between teams and people, if you are coming here thinking you'll make friends then sadly you'll be disappointed. - Very isolated teams, I even see VPs and directors simply roam around the office with no-one to talk to.

Pros

Compensation ok to start but declines in value

Cons

1. What does Invent really do? At my current employer an interviewer said he searched Invent and could not figure out what they actually do. I think even the very name is a bit bizarre. Maybe reinvent the wheel! 2. A lot of junior staff supplemented with senior egotistic self serving but incompetent people. 3. Absolute obsession with the hoax of climate change introducing policies for travel that destroy morale, cost a fortune and result in poor service to clients. Expectation that client pays for policies that are nuts. Examples are a prohibition on flights in the UK and Europe even. 4. Lots of talking and little evidence of delivery. Pretty slides and no substance. Worse than several big 4 consultancies I worked with before that actually delivered something!
