      Pros

      Good benefits and work environment; flexible schedule; no need to use "paid time off" when you need to go doctor's appointment; many chances to take company paid dining out and free food; company paid "FUN DAY";

      Cons

      work overtime without overtime pay; management and leadership is very unreasonable demanding; young people are oftentimes snobby, since most of them are B or worse students from top schools; very tough interview screenings; People pretend to know everything and like blah blah blah......

      Pros

      Cant think of any compelling reason to work for them. Lots of solid people. The vision and belief in the vision was great - execution of vision was suspect.

      Cons

      They claim to be data driven then ignore data on a regular basis. Upper management was a vacuum of ideas - a one way street.

      Pros

      Capital One hires very smart people and it is an interesting and exciting place to work. Compensation is fair, especially if you are a high performer. Capital One is a very open-minded company and was one of the first to adopt a "if they're family to you, they're family to us" policy and include domestic partners in insurance benefits.

      Cons

      Advancement opportunities are limited and the company tends to jump on whatever recent management fad is popular. Capital One can get bogged down in procedure and limit the potential for creativity.
