Pros

Work is good. Lot of responsibilities are given.

Cons

But long timers to hide their shortcomings do lot of politics. Lot of feminists around and upper management protects them since they are long timers. They play with the job of people by threatening harassment complaints. Advice to inquire about the team before joining.

Pros

401k match and annual employee contribution is hard to beat unless you can get stock options from other companies. Short term incentive program is nice when they pay out.

Cons

Preaches Safety culture but does not care about employees as shown by WFH policies and expectations to work extended hours with no additional compensation. Management does not put in much effort but will be quick to pass on blame. Health insurance costs erodes much of the competative salary. My recommendation is to job hop often because company loyalty is not valued.

Pros

Decent compensation, 401(k) match, and bonus. WLB is pretty good - I rarely work more than 40 hrs/week. Access to modern technologies, although approval process can take some time.

Cons

I can't speak to the rest of the org, but my time in CAT Digital has been super frustrating. Most of the data pipelines are an over-architectured and error-prone mess. This is because leadership hires a ton of contractors (which, is not necessarily a bad thing!) but then doesn't give them the support needed to succeed in their job. The team leads I've worked with are either unmotivated, or spread way too thin to be effective. I can't recommend working for CAT Digital - this business unit has a LONG way to go and I don't seem them getting there in the next decade.
