      * Company built from multiple technical acquisitions over time, which leads to a confusing mix of internal technologies for employees and overwhelming set of product offerings for customers and the sales force * Upper-level management unable to agree on a focused set of goals for internal systems * Lots of internal politics, without a clear model for cross-functional collaboration * Too many levels of the organization means that department annual goals aren't set until the middle of Q2, leaving ICs to scramble to deliver on commitments
