Good remote policy, but managed by gossip, favoritism, and massive wage gaps
Pros
Almost absolute flexibility regarding office attendance; you only have to go to the office 6 days a month. The pay is good, although I believe there was a massive gap between my salary and my colleagues. In my case, I received two-thirds of a monthly salary, considering I had only worked there for three months of the previous year. Some colleagues are nice.
Cons
At least in my team, the team lead was a disaster. Her performance reviews were based entirely on gossip and what her friends within the team told her. When asked why she didn't use objective metrics, she confessed she had no way to do so—which is false, since we used Jira and ServiceNow, where actual work can be easily audited. During reviews, she would actually name the people who said X or Y about you; it felt more like a gossip session than a professional evaluation. The real power in the team belongs to 1 or 2 people who have been there the longest. If you are not on their good side, they will do everything possible to push you out. These same people were completely resistant to any changes or improvements, rejecting scripts and automation just to keep doing things through manual steps. Colleagues told me it is standard practice here not to raise salaries after hiring, or to offer laughable increases. Someone hired in 2020 could easily be making the same or almost the same in 2026. This creates brutal wage gaps; I am convinced I was easily making way more than the rest of the team. The exact same laptop for everyone, with no exceptions. They try hard to create a corporate cult environment, with tons of events where everyone is strongly encouraged to participate. A lot of people have already made the company a core part of their identity.
