      Pros

      It was a great company to work with and for. During my four and half years at DWS, I would say one of the unique factors was that they are supportive of their consultants. On the first day on the job, they mentioned if you are overloaded with work, speak to the BDM and they can work with you to support you (2019). They absolutely live by that humanistic value, which is uniquely different compared to other consulting companies. The company has had a healthy pipeline and you are able to extend your career here through the various opportunities that come into the pipeline across different industries and clients. The Social Club is a great area to connect and reconnect with DWS consultants too.

      Cons

      Currently, the office is a bit older, so not many consultants go into it that often that said everyone is either working remotely or at a client site.

DWS absolutely stands by and enforces by our balanced work-life approach; also glad to hear you enjoyed the social club activities, as the team puts a great deal of work into arranging them. We have also recently moved to a brand new office space, which is much more modern.

      Pros

      * Interesting, challenging and varied client placements. * Very engaged social club. * Great self-study initiatives (including certification bonus). * Very generous referral bonuses.

      Cons

      I can't think of any. Some, however, might find the career advancement process a con. It is basically left up to the individual to take control of their career advancement. This may be viewed a a lack of care by management, but it's not.

DWS does indeed allow our Consultants to be in control of their own career progression - while we do suggest to many that we feel they are ready for the next step up, we would never push this on anyone, as some are happy where they are & may not want (or be in a position) to take on the additional responsibilities that a higher role would bring.
