Cons
People here work hard, but they don't have a technical background. If you want a technical role and grow as a data scientist, a consulting company isn't a place to find it. People here either don't understand or don't value you as a data scientist. Spend 75% of my time doing business work (and no, not even data wrangling work, but just pure business work). Non-technical management don't understand the potential value of exploring more cutting edge data science methods and gives up on a project/initiative if initial results don't show promise. Non-technical managers tell you to p-hack or conduct analysis in a way that is bias towards positive results instead of following best practices.
