      Pros

      Flexibility, clear career path. There is definitely the opportunity to be proactive and go after the career and projects you want. Good compensation structure.

      Cons

      Can be very high-burn depending on what group you work in. They say they're very focused on work-life balance but this is definitely a place where you can easily work 70+ hours a week and be expected to be available on weekends.

      Pros

      The overall atmosphere in the company is rather good and friendly. Most of the people have the good sense of humour and like to celebrate different events together. Some projects are rather interesting and include real strategy work and deep analysis of client's core operations. Partners are usually opened for communication from all level of employees.

      Cons

      Career advancement is based mainly on personal attitude rather than real project success. Beside that, there are different standarts of excellence in different service line. Most of the projects is not very interesting and usually somehow connected with the implementation of IT solutions. It is hard to get staffed to interesting strategy projects. Each consultant is tightly connected to a very limited number of service offerings. Some projects are way too long (a year and even more). The level of compensation is too low (at all levels) and definitely doesnt's represent the value of the work to the client.

      Pros

      i enjoy working at deloitte as the work environment is very friendly, compensation is from what I think, competitive, I am treated fairly and (so far) there seems to be ample opportunity for career advancement. Employee morale is usually high even in the recent economic downturn and we are encouraged to stay positive through all aspects of life.

      Cons

      One area i am somewhat dissatisfied in is the recognition I receive at work. Sometimes i do not feel as if I am recognized for my accomplishments. I do know this is one of the 'evils' of working for a large multinational firm.
