      Its like College 2.0, except they pay us instead of us paying them.

      Pros

      The training here is fantastic. I also love working with a large group of very smart post-college people like myself, its much better than being the one young person at the company (as in an industry job). They also give us a good amount of paid time off each year.

      Cons

      Loooooong hours some of the time. The pay is not fantastic for what we are doing, especially compared to jobs in industry. The pay is competitive with other Big 4 firms, though.

      Pros

      The salary is competitive and coleeagues are sharp. Reputation of the Firm is excellent in the marketplace. This is a geat place to launch a career and hone one's skills.

      Cons

      Although the Firm advertises a 'work-life' balance, my experience is that this doesnt hold true (at least in the consulting arm). The hours are long (60+ hours per week) and the travel requirement is usually 100%. The number of vacation days provided is generous; unfortunately, it is difficult to take more than a few days off (a week at most) unless you are between projects. Attrition is in line with industry standards (~20%).

      Pros

      Incredible opportunity to move up the learning curve on different industries; different functions rapidly. This experience can replace business school. The training is fantastic. Salaries are very competitive. Time off is nice, as if you take between projects you can truly take time off.

      Cons

      Limited control over your personal life due to travel of up to 100% in the consutling discipline. The health benefits are adequate, but not great.
