Pros

You have a job. You get paid weekly. Salary competitive... Only if you base it on an actual 48 hour work week.

Cons

NO PAYROLL DOLLARS! You WILL work freight most of you day.... When not a cashier. Will be micromanaged. Only, and I mean ONLY way to stay current is to work 60 or more hours.

Pros

Plenty of time to keep close to your family because you don't get hours.

Cons

No overtime, bad management, no culture and values, bad work/life balance, if your lucky enough to get enough hours, you get too many. If your hours are cut short, you're still required to get the same amount of work complete. Where would retail employees learn about compensation? Can't take advantage of benefits if you aren't paid well enough to afford co-pays so nobody even bothers. I've never learned about any opportunities and wouldn't know where to look for advancement.
