Pros

You work with good, hardworking people and are able to teach and train and make an impact on their growth and the business. The employees are very eager to do a good job and want to learn more and do better. The store and the store management can be active in the small communities we serve.

Cons

The business is very top down and doesn't take feedback from the field. Labor dollar constraints create a enviroment that is too lean.

Pros

They pay you every week

Cons

Expect to work 65 to 70 hours per week and that means physical labor on your feet stocking, cleaning, running a register cleaning toilets, sweeping , and mopping the floor cleaning the parking lot taking out trash etc. Oh and by the way you will need to manage every aspect of store ops as well. No thanks will be given, you will never get done with the tasks. You will never catch up. Your pay will average less than 8.00 per hour.

Pros

Great customers, getting to know your community.Having some great employees.

Cons

Workload is completely unrealistic.Managers are required to work 48 hours a week, it is impossible to get the required tasks done. Most managers work on average of 60 hours a week.Hourly employees are paid horribly which results in large turn over.
