Pros

Renewable energy is a sector for positive impact. If it’s your first job or you have come from the call/contact centre team, it could be worth a shot. If you’ve worked in tech before, it might not be the best fit.

Cons

- Tech leadership often bend to stakeholder demands leaving teams exposed to poor ideas; very top-down. - Majority of leadership team have only ever worked at E.ON (there might be one or two exceptions now?) so top-down directives are baked in. - Call centre leadership are against an experiment-driven approach which makes working here feel pointless and unrewarding if you work in tech. Their approach is very outdated.

Pros

Great hours (9 - 5 Monday to Friday) and remote.

Cons

Salary is low for how much you’re expected to do (billing, complaints, admin, credit and prepayment knowledge). Also very little flexibility and managers / SDM’s and OM’s have extremely high expectations with unrealistic standards.
