Pros

E.ON looks after its employees and goes above and beyond the minimum required. Caring and flexible management. Hard work is rewarded, lots of opportunities.

Cons

Losing market share to smaller companies means E.ON is feeling the pinch and having to offer redundancy and makes cuts wherever it can.

Pros

Lots different opportunities in a variety of business areas. Support for career progression. If you are willing to learn and put yourself out there then you'll get on. Flexible working

Cons

Managers can be a bit hit and miss. Very profit orientated which comes before customer satisfaction

Pros

-Decent money for the job. -Set shifts and the ability to apply for different shift patterns. -Fair holiday allowance and bank holidays off. -Room for progression and pay rises. -It's certainly not for everyone but if you're looking for a role that you can do, go home and not think about this is fine in my opinion once you get over the fact that your listening to complaints all day and you've had poor training.

Cons

-Some of the procedures don't make much sense and lead to people being lazy and the others end up picking up their mistakes/lack of effort. -Complaints, no one likes being moaned at all day do they? But this is the nature of the role, if you have the ability to stay calm and let it go over your head - it's fine! -Management too focused on numbers and stats rather than thinking about the bigger picture as to what is causing the complaints in the first place. -Breaks are pretty short, two ten minute breaks and one half hour break but it's a bit of strict schedule and I have seen people being pulled up for being literally one minute late for work. -Terrible 'training'.
