Pros

Working for a large company provides you with the opportunities if you want to progress and learn, it also offers great benefits for you and your family.

Cons

With a large organisation you do find that change happens more often.

Pros

Good benefits and salary. Generous holiday schedule. Hours are good since senior management works 10 AM to 5 PM. It's a great company if you like bureaucracy and incompetence.

Cons

For a company that develops renewable projects, the pipeline is non existent. E.ON can only build in Texas. Solar development is a joke with nothing built in the last 3 years. US managers are more concerned about looking good to their bosses in Germany than attending to issues. It is a kiss up/kick down culture where managers are very abusive of employees but are upper management's sycophants.

Senior management will run this company to the ground.

Pros

Intelligent people, strong benefits, they pay somewhat competitively to what market pays. Projects are challenging, yet good. Nothing other than that.

Cons

Everything outside of pay and benefits. Like I said, senior management is filled with a bunch of idiots. HR can't figure out things for the life of them.. lack of resources- I'm pretty sure everything I do is manual. What a joke! Minimal work life balance.
