      Overall very good company to learn and life balance

      Pros

      Very good for learning about all the different assets/commodities/business Not very stressful jobs in general. Good balanced work/private Facilities included: canteen, gym Strong works council: protecting internal employee before externals Everybody is like a big family.

      Cons

      Too big for fast decission, too much political and personal interest Too much hierarchy and low responsiblities unless you get a Senior Management position Not so easy to change jobs even horizontally. Accomodated people. Currently lost without a clear successful strategy. a bit "German" sometimes...

      Pros

      The hierarchy is flat and you can work your way up rather quickly if you do your job well. Fantastic international environment. In Germany, it is not very common to have a fully English work environment, nor to address everyone by their first name. EGC, to me, offers a truly international work environment.

      Cons

      The direction of the company is unclear in terms of what it will focus on and where potential cuts are being made.

      Pros

      Fantastic salary with excellent benefits that will suit anyone, with so many opportunities to progress. If you put your mind to it you can go really far. I'm surrounded by great people (the majority anyway) with an excellent atmosphere.

      Cons

      Being micro-managed is maybe the only downside to it. Having someone look at every toilet break taken is rather annoying.
