Ran by people who are greatly detached from what it's actually like working in a busy store, will get away with minimal staff coverage (but maximum expectations), minimal breaks despite being on your feet and speaking constantly, rare to get any praise but nitpicking over everything else, constantly bringing out unrealistic time goals and standards yet bringing in more complicated drinks/scripts/food prep without increasing the target demand to make it achievable. The company give you 30% discount for ONLY you - even a parent or child doesn't qualify, no food free on shift (very poor to other Starbucks franchises nearby and own brand stores who gives you a £10 value to use each shift), eg would rather their stores run on no personlity or originality - strict uniform policy, scripts to follow that customers never do like as they're incredible fake sounding, holiday decorating no allowed.
