Pros
EY provides the consulting resources with almost limitless opportunities, if you take the initiative to find and involve yourself in those activities. Client work can be very rewarding, especially those are not pure documentation based and the speed of learning industry domains is excellent for future transitions to industry roles.
Cons
The downside of EY is their internal processes which takeaway time and energy from meaningful work. The lack of organized approaches around business development work and proposals results in late evenings and nights. While leadership preaches work life balance, in reality many login by 8:30am and continue to work after hours to meet internal and client responsibilities.
