Pros

Professional growth, plenty of opportunities and ways to develop one's career, exposure to cutting edge issues and interesting clients, working with smart and driven people

Cons

Long hours, emphasis on getting job done no matter what - to the point where developing one's personal life can become extremely difficult

Pros

Professional and competent people. Laid back attitude, not extremely competetive. Emphasis on work life balance, hours not worse than industry.

Cons

Everyone grow in the same pace first 5 years. Limitied oppertunities to "stand out" from the crowd. Not more than average pay.

Pros

Learning and career advancement opportunities. Work with brilliant people. Opportunities to travel and to see different clients and work in different industries.

Cons

Work long hours (usually year round) without the pay to go with it (comparable to what you'd see in a law firm or investment banking firm). EY tries to be everything to everyone with a ranking system. As a result, you have dozens of initiatives that don't appear to have any link to getting a job done better. Work life balance is a championed value, but rarely enforced or monitored.
