Pros

Has a good salary, above average. And there are a lot of training and resources for new employees.

Cons

Everything is dictated by managers who don't have real experience in the field. There is little grow opportunities in the short term. And the flexibility depends mostly on your manager. WFH policy changed to a "4-day at office" without any justification.

Good pay, benefits, and time off

Cons

The IT org is constantly going through layoffs. The work is going to managed service providers in India. The whole process is clown shoes. They are letting people go that have been here for 20+ years that have so much knowledge and expect to transfer it over to workers who are extremely siloed, who might not even be around in 6 months(the retention rate for this particular MSP is abysmal). These workers are not even dedicated to 3M, they have many other projects. I’m concerned for 3M’s IT future. Walking over dollars to pick up pennies
