Lots of corporate pandering. They don’t really care about sustainability or social justice initiatives, they just check the box and then under-fund them. Poor c-suite communication and quality people are leaving in droves.
3M Response

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and are grateful that you shared your experience so far at 3M. We are glad to hear that you enjoy the pay and benefits, however, we see that you are also concerned with the communication, and sustainability of corporate. I strongly encourage you to speak with your direct supervisor or HR to discuss these issues further if you have not already done so.
The IT org is constantly going through layoffs. The work is going to managed service providers in India. The whole process is clown shoes. They are letting people go that have been here for 20+ years that have so much knowledge and expect to transfer it over to workers who are extremely siloed, who might not even be around in 6 months(the retention rate for this particular MSP is abysmal). These workers are not even dedicated to 3M, they have many other projects. I’m concerned for 3M’s IT future. Walking over dollars to pick up pennies
