      First year with AMD was incredible experience - had a manager allowed me to create the perfect job for both of us.

      Too much management turnover Can be difficult to get at the correct grade level based on experience

      Processes and checks/balances not always followed (no strong rigid process flow which can be good/bad) Company still too consumer product focused (versus corporate) in many divisions

      Pros

      The pay is really nice. 3/4 managers I've had actually seem to care! Nice location for most folks.

      Cons

      They will keep you on contract until they literally cannot anymore. Getting hired on full-time is like pulling teeth.
