      AMD offers great job opportunities however hours can be very long.

      Cons

      Many groups/employees have heavy work loads demanding late nights and weekends with North America colleagues, late nights with APAC and early mornings for meetings with Europe.

      Cons

      Processes and checks/balances not always followed (no strong rigid process flow which can be good/bad) Company still too consumer product focused (versus corporate) in many divisions

      Pros

      The pay is really nice. 3/4 managers I've had actually seem to care! Nice location for most folks.

      Cons

      They will keep you on contract until they literally cannot anymore. Getting hired on full-time is like pulling teeth.
