Pros

Very interesting topics to work in and a lot of mobility within projects. They take good care of employees and a lot of vacation time.

Cons

It's stuck on using old tools (like MATLAB) and in old ways. It's not really innovative as advertised, although it works on same old problems on new machines. Most people working there think that they are smart ... but aren't. Also suffers an endemic "not invented here" attitude and reinvents the wheel every other year. Career advancement gets slower over time and ASML encourages people to grow on a managerial role as either: Group Leader (direct line manager), Project Leader (project manager) or Architect (glorified technical manager with limited technical skills that advises other managers with not technical skills). If you are an outstanding Engineer at some point you will have 3 to 4 managers hammering you for results. Encourages a "popularity contest" way of thinking, that means that shallow/easy and widespread solutions are more recognized than solving a deep/difficult problem that not many people understand.

Pros

Location is good and near freeway, they make a crucial technology for the world to function

Cons

Toxic environment. Selective enforcement, antisemitic DEI culture, tattle tale rat snitch employees, managers play favorites, managers move the goal post after you were supposed to earn a salary increase. too many foreigners in management and not enough americans. DEI is a joke and is run by a racist black women. Company will burn you and punish you for problems someoen else created and punish you for it despite no power to fix the issue yourself.
