Pros
- Gives exposure to the forefront of a brilliant industry. - Good profit sharing. - "Flat hierarchy" as in you can speak up publicly.
Cons
- Working culture.. nobody takes sufficient ownership. - Communication lines are secretive without any real reason. - Double work. - Extremely poor knowledge retention. - Poor at people retention. - The most knowledgeable and experienced staff are rapidly retiring and not being replaced. - Most likely overhired in many technical roles. There isn't enough real work. Or the purpose is never fully justified. - 70%+ of the company is young and new to the sector, forget high end litho. They do not know what they are doing and are not being trained appropriately (because the staff capable of training appropriately are retiring/leaving rapidly).
