Pros

Some of the installers are spot on as they dont hide behind desks barking orders and bully people

Cons

Awful, truly awful. Your initial week of training in Sheffield was ok and some very nice people. Unfortunately once a region has been given it all falls apart. You are encouraged to give feedback and share any ideas as they are a relatively new company in order to try and improve things. Sadly if you speak up you quickly realise that you won't fit in. A number of staff were let go as they spoke up about jobs being booked all over the country and sales staff litetally travelling to each others areas.Team leader in dartford had no clue whatsoever and is purely a mouthpiece for the head of region. You are expected to attend team meetings on your mobile phone whilst driving and despite raising this, the comments made are " are you sure this job is right for you" zero support. Cars not fit for purpose, no handover or vehicle checks from previous employees, resulting in some cars not being road legal but you are expected to just get on with it, a clear disregard for your safety. In team meetings, homophobic and sexist comments, including mickey taking at other employees nationality go unchallenged. Salary was reduced as the company is making a loss. Cold calling was expected although the job advert made no mention of this. I was under the impression that being MCS accredited under the boiler upgrade scheme meant that cold calling wasnt permitted, yet you are constantly being told to knock doors. was A truly awful experience. The whats app group sales chat is awful. With some individuals clearly targeting the elderly. New staff being asked to put reviews on trustpilot was shocking.

Pros

Really?!? Can’t believe they actually asked - NONE!

Cons

Do not work here. Please, please ignore the recent 4- and 5-star reviews below, they appear to have been written to improve the company’s image rather than reflect the reality of working there. I cannot believe anyone who has genuinely worked here, past or present, would honestly rate it five stars. This is, without question, the worst place I have ever worked. It is a toxic environment where morale is non-existent. The remaining management are spiteful and self-serving. They closed offices across the country and made large numbers of talented, experienced, and respected employees redundant in order to protect their own positions. Many of the people left behind are those with the least knowledge or experience, and promotions seem to be based on favouritism rather than ability. If you want a more accurate picture of what it’s really like to work here, read the older reviews that describe the toxicity, backstabbing, and poor culture. Those reflect my experience far more than the recent glowing reviews. My advice is simple: don’t work here.

Pros

Hybrid working structure and the regional team before redundancies were made.

Cons

The business is severely undermined by poor management and questionable leadership decisions, with individuals being promoted into roles they are clearly not equipped to handle. There is a significant lack of communication between the north and south operations, creating confusion and inefficiency across the company. I was left with minimal support while expected to manage an entire region, taking on responsibilities equivalent to a senior leadership role without any recognition or appropriate remuneration. The culture appears to favour an “inner circle,” with progression often influenced by personal relationships rather than merit, which is both demoralising and unprofessional. Combined with substantial company debt and redundancy decisions that seemed to target the wrong individuals, my experience was ultimately a frustrating misuse of time and effort.
