Pros

flexible working time, good cantine and still many nice human people at least, except for harsh team and horrible management in queen regime.

Cons

- over high expectation in spite of low payment and little support/help for on the job. As the typical rule always goes, "teach yourself swimming in the cold water" - position for student with part time contract was not respected . It's just about squeezing the cheap student employee for high output as an full-time employee but for low payment. - student worker are more squeezed as cheap victim paying for the inefficient IT-systems and for the lack of team internal communication, because in the same team, superviser A wants you to left however superviser B wants you to right, whatever you do, you would always be the bad performer in the eyes of them and the manager. the manager is always busy and refused to hear anything from the subordinates. evaluation based on a real case in a team within catastrophe department on a technical position. So a warning especially for those talents of STEM field

Pros

Good benefits, hybrid work arrangement is flexible (you can choose your 3 days in office)

Cons

Tenure and friendship is valued more than actual skillsets. Many people in Ops have no formal college education or true technical skills, and have been complacent in the dept for 10+ years. This leads to inefficient and stale processes that are reluctant to change. The culture is extremely passive aggressive and long-tenured employees are not welcoming to new hires from outside of the organization. People will go out of their way to sabotage opportunities for those offering new perspectives with greater value add. This causes forced interactions with low value collaboration. Many in analytical roles do not even understand basic Microsoft Office skills, Excel functions, V/XLOOKUPS, etc. and data is often reviewed manually per line item… This company is run like a low budget mom and pop shop where inefficient and backwards practices are toxically in circulation.
