Pros

Benefits are very good in all areas

Cons

The recent push to hire more diverse job candidates is hurting the company. Best people are being passed over for female candidates as the company tries to win political points and be recognized by the media for it's practices. It's to the point that we'll soon be dealing with lawsuits, which will surely slow down our already slow process even more.

Thanks for your feedback, it’s a great measure of caring about our company when people take the time to share their perspectives, and I appreciate your doing so. Our efforts to build a diverse and inclusive work environment are based on making BASF stronger for everyone. That includes all of us who work here, our customers who benefit from our ability to look through different lenses and find new approaches to solve problems and meet market needs, and people who are looking to join us in the future. Hiring decisions are all about choosing the best candidate, bringing together interview teams to select people who are the best at what they do from a talent pool that is stronger and more diverse than ever before. As we build a thoughtful, engaging and inclusive place to work for all, I would appreciate the opportunity to engage further on this topic with you, and encourage you to please reach out to me so that we can continue the conversation.
