Pros

Great colleagues, good team leads

Cons

Company has become entirely profit over people. Everything follows a two step approach: Make it simple -> Send to cheaper countries A few thousand people lost their jobs over the last few years (due to bad decisions of the Board and selling/externalizing part of the company). They use the excuse of having low stockprice (due to the Monsanto acquisition fiasco) and "cost contingency", while the board keep getting fat bonusses and payouts. But hey don't mind that, while merit increases have been stopped entirely for the majority of the company (and by majority I mean the people actually doing the work) except for inflation adjustments... (because mid/higher managers get whatever they want either way) and the last year workload workload discussions popped up every company meeting while basically no action is taken by management. Then yeah don't be surprised you get a bad rating.

Pros

Better pay than other companies My team - full of hardworking and knowledgable individuals.

Cons

Leadership/Management - can be micromanaging at times and not a lot of guidance/resources being provided. Projects can change swiftly at Bayer, and most of the times there's no background context given. Work/life balance - asked to be "flexible" with schedule for last-minute requests, then criticized for having life/responsibilities outside of work. Also, these last minute requests reflect poor planning on management. Lack of team morale - seems like it's all work and not a lot of play. Burnout culture and not a lot of incentives to perform better.
