Pros

- Greenfield Advantage: The SSC is in its formative stage, offering a rare chance for top performers to influence structure, culture, and process design. - Potential for Best-in-Class Practices: With the right leadership and autonomy, there's room to build scalable, efficient, and future-ready service delivery models. - Talent Acquisition Strength: The company has attracted professionals with strong backgrounds, signaling intent to build a high-performing team.

Cons

- Leadership is resistant to change, often defaulting to “no” and citing organizational unreadiness. - Micromanagement is rampant, even among highly experienced hires. - Creativity and autonomy are discouraged; space for innovation is virtually nonexistent. - Toxic managerial behavior is tolerated, with a tendency to deflect accountability and blame victims rather than address root causes. - Productivity is measured by hours clocked, not outcomes delivered. - Attrition is high, especially among Gen Z employees, yet cultural issues are routinely ignored or minimized.

Pros

The people I worked alongside were the best part of the job.

Cons

While my early experience was positive, my experience changed significantly over time. Communication and the application of workplace policies became less consistent, and the work environment felt increasingly micromanaged. Workplace changes and employee transitions were not always handled in a way that felt transparent or consistent. In my experience, compensation and annual raises did not keep pace with employee contributions or expectations. I also believe the company could do more to recognize and support long-term employees, especially during periods of change. It was a reminder that the end of an employee’s experience often reflects the culture just as much as the beginning.
