Pros
Pays well, with bonuses, RSUs, ESPP and company match, especially given recent stock runup. Great people (VMware division). Projects can be interesting. Brilliant CEO (but layoff happy).
Cons
Average to mediocre benefits. Multiple layoff rounds part of life. No WAH/remote work. No H1/B sponsorship except senior staff. Projects may not be the most interesting.
