Pros

The remote days we used to have. The people are nice and if you can put up with staying longer theres is a good chance of moving up from within. Good representation among employee groups.

Cons

They will take away benifits while telling you employees asked for it. I had two remote days a week when I started. They took away one last year and this year they took the other. You dont get company match for 401k investments until a year in. Instead of meaninful raises you will be advertised to by companies who give out free samples in the lobby and this will be presented as a perk. You will not be trained and will have to learn how to do the job on your own.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
