Pros

It's easy to advance in the company if you prove to be reliable and hardworking. Flexible schedule for employees that AREN'T store managers. I feel as though the pay is fair.

Cons

Hard to balance life and work because of the required 6 days a week. The biggest problem is that you're given hardly any hours for the schedule, just enough to barely cover breaks. Not enough to have someone on the sales floor, stocking, and on registers simultaneously. So how are we supposed to complete and follow the 7 day workflow they enforce when we aren't given enough hours for the store to succeed? I repeatedly felt as though I was set up for failure instead of success.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
