Pros
Pay was not bad. Benefits are so-so. Educational opportunities outside of work. Climate controlled facility.
Cons
Senior leadership was horrible at the DC while I was there, unlike the senior leadership of the company, which I respect. I understand that they fired the worst ones. Good. I don't think they evaluate/develop their leadership candidates very well, or panic and hire anyone with a pulse. They promote a lot of hourly workers without evaluating their leadership skills, which just perpetuates their problems. Turnover was as bad as I've ever seen, and that could have been mitigated to an extent. Employees are denigrated behind closed doors, but the attitude gets picked up on by the employees, so the bad attitude goes both ways. Leadership has very little understanding of what they ask employees to do, so employees lose respect for them. Quite a few quality employees that other companies would have been happy with are swept out the door. Heard the term "slave plantation" among hourly employees. Not exactly how you want to be perceived in the community.
