Treated terribly. Managers take no responsibility if you have an issue i.e. reported abusing drugs and alcohol whilst on shift but no one cared.
Expected to work long hours, up to 15 hour shifts, and sometimes staffing was so short to save money you wouldn't take a break
Shifts could be changed at less than 24 hours notice and rotas often given out on weekend for following week making it hard to have a life outside work
No PPE provided for cleaning toilets, or during COVID-19 pandemic, especially needed when they insisted on still accepting cash payments
Compared to other Starbucks franchises limited if any bonuses
Bullying between colleges but again no managers or area managers cared (I was never a victim but witnessed it, and reported it but nothing was ever done)
