Pros

• Chic, modern office • Flexible start times • Friendly people • Beautiful views out of the office windows

Cons

• No hybrid working, not brilliant for a company based in a provincial northern town • No concept of work/life balance: ask people what they did at the weekend and they’ll inevitably say they did some work. People still in the office at 6, 7pm & logging on when they get home • Everything is done in Excel for the most part, no proper data systems, not great for a company with a billion pounds annual revenue spread across multiple countries • Everyone works in silos, no defined processes, completely different ways of working from team to team and none of it is documented • Employee benefits are basically the absolute minimum they can get away with

Pros

It's a job if you have nothing else

Cons

For the most expensive gas station somehow they manage to still be the lowest paid - only being offered a $1 raise for a leadership position when I have over 5 years of management experience is disgusting. They only care about getting people to sign up for rewards and will write you up if you don't get people putting in their number - they basically expect you to hold a gun to the guest head and force them to put their number in - district and regional management only care about juicing their bonuses while the rest of us struggle to pay rent every month - brought this up to regional manger over 3 months ago with a "I'll look into it" yeah right buddy..
