Pros

No pros to this company at all.

Cons

I would not accept this job keep looking for another! The turn over of the company is huge on average 12-15 people leave per month. To the point where if someone is in the office late we all assume they have quit or been fired. Mass performance plans are given and often make you work until 5:30 then they fire you. If you haven't received a promotion in your first 3 months expect to be fired. This is not a company anyone stays in for a long time. The majority of people are looking for other jobs while working here. This company offer no perks - minimum holiday 20 days, no flexibility. The commission structure is reduced constantly but they still expect you to hit the same targets. This role is purely just cold calling, no emails, no linkedin. Just dialling 250 plus times a day. No strong management. There is 0 training once you are promoted into a management role which leads to lack of morale within the BDR team.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We read all feedback carefully and take it seriously. Flatpay is a high-performance sales environment and we're upfront about that from day one - it's not for everyone, and we respect that. We're proud of our promote-from-within culture and the investment we make in developing our people, including a dedicated training programme for managers. Where we do see room to grow, we're actively working on it. We'd always encourage anyone with concerns to raise them with us directly - that's genuinely how we get better.

Pros

The one thing that genuinely stands out is the people. Most colleagues were collaborative, supportive, and easy to work with; there's a real team spirit among peers that made the day-to-day more bearable.

Cons

Where to begin. The compensation structure is the most glaring issue: commission-only pay that falls below the London Living Wage, despite being required to be in the office five days a week. The advertised OTE of £60k–£70k sounds compelling on paper, but the reality is that very few people are actually hitting their numbers. Most will be stuck on the minimum base for at least the first three months, possibly longer. Realistically, the role is closer to a £30k–£40k OTE than anything advertised. The office environment doesn't help. Loud music plays constantly, which might suit a certain vibe, but it makes it nearly impossible to have a coherent call with a client. It feels performatively startup-y rather than actually productive. Management is a real weakness. Without being overly harsh, most people in leadership positions lack the experience the role demands. There's no clear structure, no CRM, and processes are improvised at best. High turnover is the predictable result, and it shows. There's also a creeping surveillance culture: cameras have been installed to monitor the floor, which says a lot about the level of trust extended to employees. No perks of any kind, and if you need time off before you've accrued enough leave, you take it unpaid, full stop. Weekend working is another grey area. It's not officially required, but there's a clear expectation in practice, which creates an uneven playing field depending on who you are and what your life looks like outside of work. On the product: competitive rates, yes, but the offering is genuinely basic. There's limited real value to sell beyond price, which makes the job harder than it needs to be and puts a ceiling on how compelling your pitch can ever be.

Pros

- A well equipped office with free breakfast included daily. - A fantastic team, everyone is friendly and approachable. A truly diverse workplace, everyone is welcomed. - Excellent progression opportunities, they promote within and truly believe in their people, hard work is rewarded. Recently promoted after 3 months to a lead position! - Regular socials for teams and also for the overall group with an activity and free food and drinks. - Feedback is encouraged and listened to by management. - Relatively new to the UK but continuing to grow fast with ambitious founders, I truly look forward to seeing our growth across the UK and in other territories.

Cons

- No cons to report as we continue to grow I can only see more positives.
