Pros
I have worked at Fluor in the Houston office for several years on a variety of projects. I love the people I have worked with and I very rarely have dreaded coming to work. Great work life balance. My managers have trusted me to get my work done, so no micromanaging. Open door policy is real -- you can talk to anyone and most people, in all positions and departments, are very friendly.
Cons
I worry about the future of the Houston office and my opportunities here. Upper management is starting to show more appreciation for employees in this office, but previously, that was not the case, which I suppose is typical for large corporations. Jobs are also being outsourced.
