Pros
I really enjoyed the camaraderie and expertise of coworkers. I appreciated the flexibility of the vacation time.
Cons
The industry tends to have lots of ups and downs. The periods of layoffs make for very stressful working conditions. There are no severance packages. They typically give you 2 weeks of notice (so you "get" to work for 2 more weeks of pay.
