Was recruited hard for a job that went away less than 6 months after I started - Director GE Employee Review

The job I was recruited to do went away due to internal reorganization less than 6 months after I started. GE really recruited me hard and I left a company where I was highly successful then pulled the rug out from under me. When the reorganization happened my boss essentially said "you'll figure something out" before heading off to his new assignment.
