Pros
- Good Money. - Compared to other Indian companies HCL provides usually more flexibility for customer demands. - Strong financial situation.
Cons
Similar to other Indian companies HCL is a winner of the Outsourcing Hype. The business is a volume business, the company culture is extremely policy driven (which is necessary in a volume business). Service Quality, customer satisfaction, smart solutions and long term focus is not really important as long as the outsourcing demand is high. Very strong marketing that does not reflect the reality in delivery quality and employee culture.
