      Pros

      Leading company within its markets. Rapidly growing, and changing industry keeps the job interesting. One of the few tech companies in downtown Chicago, always great talent interested in working here.

      Cons

      Market position makes change difficult, so a lot of innovation is happening in the markets around Navteq, without Navteq necessarily benefiting from those market changes. Strategy and vision at company are weak, so little focus of activities through the ranks.

      Leadership is very understanding and are clear SME’s that know what their doing. There’s a learning curve that’s complex, but compensation and experience is worth the training.

      Internal operations could be better, but that’s expected with any growing company.
