Pros

Some genuinely talented and committed colleagues within data and planning. Hybrid working and a modern, well-equipped Bristol office. Fast-paced environment that sharpens commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

Cons

Selective use of data – Data is sometimes "leveraged" to support decisions, rather than inform them. Collaboration and feedback rarely close loops and lack depth. Insight is gathered, but not always fully considered or acted upon. Politics over principles – Influence and internal positioning often outweigh logic or delivery. Culture strong in theory – Core values are well-articulated, but inconsistently lived. Direction frequently shifting – Strategic focus changes often without clear communication or rationale. Progression driven by proximity – Promotions can appear to reflect relationships and alignment over merit. Toxic departamental atmosphere due to senior management style, supported by an absent HR. Raising valid concerns can be quietly penalised.

Pros

Good benefits. Vacation, holidays, and 401k.

Cons

Terrible incompetent management. Management continues to make bad decisions. The company is trying to push out the great Lorillard employees so they can hire cheap incompetent people from other countries. Recently there's been a large hiring spree of people from central and south America. This company is so worried about hiring DEI employees, the talent and quality of workers is terrible. If they promote people they don't announce it because they know other employees will get upset. Recently an incompetent DEI employee was promoted, while other strong hard working employees wait from 15 to 20 years to be promoted.
