Pros

Infosys has always been a dream company for many. Its true due to its values and opportunities. Its THE BEST place to start career , where there are many opportunities ( challenges ) and fast growth. High Onsite opportunities support you financially . The role played by a software engineer or a programmer analyst is very competetive and wont get the chance in any other company.

Cons

But in case your are going to be in Offshore, the salary may not be really sufficient. Some of the company policies are very strict and are not suitable for Work-Life balance for employees who are with family.

Work-life balance (project dependent) – Many teams offer reasonable working hours. Employee benefits – Health insurance, paid leaves, and wellness initiatives. Safe and inclusive workplace – Strong focus on ethics, compliance, and diversity.

Cons

Salary growth can be slow – Compensation increments may be lower compared to market standards. Limited flexibility in role changes – Internal mobility and project switches can take time. Bureaucratic processes – Decision-making can be slow due to multiple approval layers. Project allocation delays – Bench time and delayed onboarding to projects can happen. Variable learning exposure – Skill growth depends heavily on the project assigned. Less innovation in some teams – Certain projects may use legacy technologies.
