Pros

Lots of rollouts so learning on-the-job. Ability to move to different departments. Good line managers largely.

Cons

The HR department are absolutely useless. They will not reply to a single email unless mgmt are cc'd, and even then, don't expect a sensible answer. Upper management are brutal. They will fire you in a heartbeat if it's the difference between hitting their bonus or not. You'll be hugely understaffed so you'll learn to work independently.

Pros

Had a lot of flexibility with management in choosing and outlining the projects I wanted to work on

Cons

A lot of the more interesting IT work was reserved for a few set of teams, felt insular in that regard
